Platform Product Owner
Dr. Max is the leading omnichannel pharmacy chain in Central Europe, currently present in 6 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Italy) with ambitious expansion plans across Europe. We strategically invest in digital products and a team of skilled professionals. As the Group Product team continues to expand, we are seeking a Group Product Owner for our internal platform engineering team. This role is crucial for streamlining developer workflows and contributing to our digital innovation journey. - Collaborate with architects, lead developers, and security managers to define the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with both business and technical needs.
- Effectively manage stakeholders and communicate project updates to various audiences.
- Coordinate with product owners of other development teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Prioritize the product backlog, define user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and set actionable sprint goals.
- Monitor progress, address sprint issues promptly, and gather user feedback to inform continuous product improvement.
- Adapt and improve agile practices based on feedback and performance outcomes.
- Research market trends and user needs, integrating retail and technology best practices into product strategy.
- Technical background, with experience in programming and understanding of full-stack development preferred.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies, ideally within cross-functional teams in medium to large organizations.
- Strong analytical skills, able to translate complex business needs into structured, prioritized plans.
- Familiarity with business analysis, e-commerce integrations, and system architecture.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex ideas clearly and effectively (both in Czech and English languages).
- Commitment to maintaining a balance between business objectives and low technical debt.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with users and vendors.
- Detail-oriented approach, high level of organisation skills, and capability of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
