Software Asset Manager

The group level headquarters Dr. Max BDC is expanding the IT team, so we are looking for a Software Asset Manager to join us. Employment form: Full-time work
- Management of software licensing topics and creating ELPs, especially for Microsoft products in hybrid environment.
- License related budgeting, billing, tracking and measurement of usage.
- Provide transparency of costs for SW contracts and assure fair allocation of charges to BUs and Service owners based on software usage in cooperation with IT Controlling.
- Act as licensing subject matter expert for the whole group.
- Maintain stakeholder community and enable information sharing.
- Proactively identify and drive initiatives to achieve SW license related savings and to
- mitigate compliance risks.
- Continuously improve software asset management service and processes
- Play key role in the complex software contract negotiations, manage demand and contract updates, liaise with external vendors, legal, contract and sourcing teams.
- Cooperation with procurement and legal department on projects containing software licenses.
- 3+ years of relevant proven experience managing SW licenses.
- Understanding of Microsoft licensing concepts and product use rights within containers, in on prem and in cloud operating environments.
- Experience with management of Microsoft software portfolio in enterprise environment.
- Understanding of license restrictions, benefits, optimization opportunities, BYOL concepts for product use within Azure Cloud
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with budgeting and finance planning.
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Nice to have:
- Experience with Power BI.
- Experience with Adobe, Cisco, Oracle, Veeam and Vmware
- Knowledge of software discovery tool(s).
- Working for the largest pharma retail company in CEE with great expansion plans.
