Group Supply Chain Operational Excellence Lead

Dr. Max is constantly growing and optimizing supply chain is one of our main priorities in the logistic business, retail and e-commerce. If you are already experienced professional in the area of supply chain optimization and continuous improvement methodologies on the shop floor and you would like to be a part of an exciting and meaningful project where you can share and deploy best operational excellence practices on the Group level across the teams in Dr.Max countries, this is the right opportunity for you! This position will report directly to our Group Chief Supply Chain Officer.

What will be your responsibilities?
  • Drive, enforce and monitor our execution strategy at shop floor level
  • Develop and Roll-Out our Kaizen efficiency Program
  • Create and monitor correct execution of continuous improvement programs at the shop floor level throughout our network of warehouses
  • Train shop floor personal (shift leaders, team leaders and other relevant shop floor operational functions) in continuous improvement methodologies
  • Assure standardization and written procedures across warehouse network
  • Create Internal operational Audit procedures and reports


What do we expect from you?
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the fields of technical logistics, management, mathematics or other relevant to function supported by deep in-field experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience continuous improvement methodologies like PDCA, Lean, Six Sigma, TQM and/or Kaizen. As we started a Kaizen approach to operational efficiency previous Kaizen experience is a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of time with availability to stay in site for periods of up to 2 continuous weeks based on project across all our operating geographies
  • Fluent English
  • Strong communication skills and analytical thinking needed to critically evaluate individual processes and projects, synthesize insights and arrive to a presentable, workable summary of overall correction and improvement plan
  • Experienced in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience is Business Process Management Software a plus
