IT Service Manager/Coordinator

The Group level headquarters Dr. Max BDC is expanding the IT team, so we are looking for an IT Service Manager/Coordinator to join us. As an IT Service Manager/Coordinator, you will be in responsible for management of group of IT application services including their daily operations.

What will be your responsibilities?

Service delivery management/coordination (for application services):

  • Maintain IT Service catalogue (e.g., service definition & description and other service relevant information)
  • Budget and financial planning for the portfolio
  • Management of related vendors (contract handling and negotiation, day to day vendor management and cooperation)
  • Evaluation of service quality (SLA) and trends based on operational reports
  • Monitor, control and support Service Delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed
  • Drive relevant projects and service improvements


Day-to-day service operations tasks:

  • Manage regular operational activities based on policies and procedures (e.g. Backup Recovery and Disaster Recovery, patching, auditing…)  
  • Perform/coordinate of change management activities
  • In close cooperation with project and delivery teams across the company plan, communicate, schedule and control deploy to test and live environments.
  • Act as an escalation point for service-related issues


What do we expect from you?
  • Good IT technological overview to be able to cooperate and challenge technological teams
    • o Typical technologies involved in services will be network, Microsoft products (O365, Active Directory, Azure…), virtualization (e.g. WMWare), databases (e.g. MS SQL) etc.
    • o Hands-on experience with such systems is not mandatory but understanding them is essential


  • Relevant experience in change management or service management and coordination
  • Knowledge of vendor management, service catalogues & SLAs
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Self-driven to achieve goals independently as well as work in team
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundation’s training or higher level of ITIL Certifications would be an advantage
