L1 Support Specialist

The Group level headquarters Dr. Max BDC is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join us. If you are able not only to provide IT Support, but also think creatively about improving IT support improvement processes, you want to constantly learn and improve yourself and you have ambition to grow your knowledge in various areas of IT operation and infrastructure, you are the one we are looking for. You will be first point of contact in solving the requests from IT specialists from the countries and also for Dr.Max BDC, which is the Group HQ of Dr.Max.

Required languages: Czech, Slovak or other CEE language (Proficient), English (Advanced)

What will be your responsibilities?
  • Being single point of contact for analyzing, classifying and handling requests
  • Being active in monitoring of technologies using monitoring tools and notification engines (reacting on alarms, raising and handling tickets)
  • Dispatching requests and incidents in the following areas:
    • Microsoft O365 Applications and solutions (Teams, Sharepoint on-line, Exchange, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Microsoft infrastructure (AD, FileShare, Exchange, SCCM)
    • User accounts and permissions
    • Backup and restore
    • Key application platforms – DWH&BI tools, eCommerce, Enterprise Integration platform
  • Keeping inventory and documentation up to date
  • Building up and contributing to shared knowledge base
  • Working with ServiceNow as a ticketing tool
What do we expect from you?
  • User knowledge and basic administration knowledge for Microsoft Office 365 product family and Microsoft based AD
  • Basic IT technological overview to be able to fulfill technical tasks and cooperate with technological teams in area of:
    • Microsoft 365
    • Awareness of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, Security)
    • Common services like backup, monitoring, logging
    • Basic desktop OS knowledge – Windows
    • Mac and Mac OS experience is nice to have
  • Overall relevant experience in IT operations area 1+ years – helpdesk, hotline
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent communication skills
