Senior HRBP for Group HQ

Dr.Max is the leading pharmacy chain in Central Europe. In every country where we are active, Dr.Max is dedicated to improving the level of health care available by guaranteeing access to a broad assortment of medicines and pharmacy services. Pharmacies are currently present in 6 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Italy) with great expansion plans across Europe for the near future. Dr. Max is constantly growing and as we are working on numerous projects on the Group level, so is the team on the Group HQ. At Dr.Max, we have 2 Group entities – Dr.Max BDC, which is the administrative HQ and Dr.Max Pharma, which is the private label company. In the past 4 years, Dr.Max BDC has grown to 110 employees and Dr.Max Pharma to 40. As there are already 150 employees in these two entities to whom we would like to provide proper support and partnership, we would like to expand the team with a Senior HR Business Partner, who will help to move HR initiatives forward and be a Business Partners to our managers. We are searching for a candidate, who is goal oriented and used to delivering results. What will be your responsibilities?
  • HR business partnering for managers in all departments (IT, Finance, Commercial, Digital, Supply Chain, Mergers & Acquisitions, Dr.Max private label)
  • Labor law guidance for managers and employees, in more and less complex issues, also in cooperation with external lawyers
  • Cooperation with outsourced payroll
  • Learning & development plan and execution (internal and external trainings)
  • Creating concepts for courses for Group HQ employees on e-learning platform and coordinating external agencies in content and graphic creation
  • Internal and external communication
  • Leading Group level HR activities such as:
  1. Group employer branding activities
  2. Group engagement survey and cooperation with countries in action plan creation
What do we expect from you?
  • Proven previous experience as a senior HR Business Partner or HR manager
  • Proven track of successfully implemented HR projects in different areas (learning & development, talent management, employer branding e.g.)
  • Overall labor law overview and ability to provide relevant advice to business and apply it in practice
  • Goal orientation, ability to take up initiatives and deliver results, general resilience and ability to work in a dynamically growing company and set up processes on the go
  • Ability to communicate with top level managers and directors
  • Previous experience with HR business partnering for IT department or in an IT company would be a great advantage
  • Fluent English is a must, native level Czech or Slovak would be an advantage
