Cloud Platform Engineer

Dr. Max Pharmacy Chain Group HQ is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team and help us build and scale our cloud platform. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud resources running in Microsoft Azure as the main cloud provider. You will work closely with other engineers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that the cloud platform meets the business needs and complies with the security and regulatory standards. You will also troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise in the cloud platform itself. This role will be a part of our Group HQ IT team and will be responsible for the development, security, governance, and monitoring of the group cloud platform, focusing on developing cloud products as a service mainly for the development, operations, and support teams. As part of your day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll be providing blueprints, guidelines, documentation, and guidance to internal contributors or vendors working on group cloud platform in cooperation with cloud architects and security officers. Your role is reporting directly to the Group Cloud Platform Principal Engineer, and it is considered as senior level.

What will be your responsibilities?
  • Technical development of Cloud Platform as a Service, including design, architecture, and prototyping of involved technical services/workloads and their capabilities.
  • Deliver high-quality and highly secure implementations, adhering to industry standards, best practices, and government regulations.
  • Ensure that solutions meet industry standards and security best practices.
  • Daily collaboration with local business units and architects to help them master operational excellence and governance.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and development of Dr. Max infrastructure platforms utilizing technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Azure DevOps, AKS, and Azure Cloud.
What do we expect from you?
  • Demonstrated success in delivering end-to-end platform products such as CI/CD solutions, Kubernetes provisioning/maintenance, monitoring, observability, configuration and release management, orchestration, or any other big automation projects.
  • Proficient knowledge in networking, security, and overview above software development lifecycle industry best practices and standards. Solid knowledge of Cloud Native, DevOps, SRE, and Platform engineering concepts.
  • Proven knowledge/experience with Microsoft Azure at large scale in highly regulated environment.
  • Proficiency in Terraform/OpenTofu, Docker, Ansible, Packer, Helm, and Golang/Typescript.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fluent English.
  • A problem-solving and analytical mindset.
