Data Architect
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Data Platform Architect to contribute to the design and data governance of our modern cloud enterprise data platform. Our multi-tenant, multi-vendor platform, built on Azure (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Power BI), integrates data from diverse sources to enable analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making across multiple countries. In addition to the data and reporting platform itself, there is also the Dawiso as Data Governance Platform. Our metadata-driven approach ensures high standardization, compliance, and delivery quality in a fully scalable environment. You will work in a team of experienced architects who will expertly guide you through onboarding, during which you will learn about the status of the platform and its further development.

- Maintain architectural standards across ingestion (ADF), processing (Databricks), and analytics (Power BI).
- Maintain clear documentation (SDLC, Quality Gates, Data Governance) and ensure it stays up to date.
- Perform Quality Assurance for key deliverables, reviewing functional specifications and solution designs.
- Testing and implementing AI innovations into traditional data platform development and operation processes.
- Manage and support CI/CD processes for ADF, Databricks, orchestration tools, Power BI, and other framework components.
- Guide the evolution of the platform, including adoption of new technologies, standardised data serving patterns, and self-service BI capabilities.
- Coordinate with data engineers, analysts, governance teams, and vendors to align on standards and responsibilities.
- Everything above in a collaboration of the team.
- A degree and 3+ years’ experience in large-scale data solutions (Data Lake/Lakehouse/Warehouse).
- Proven expertise with following stack: Azure Data Factory, Data Lakehouse, Databricks, Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of data concepts, building ETL pipelines and APIs.
- Experience in data architecture methodologies, leadership, and cross-team collaboration.
- Communication skills (you'll be talking to different positions), including fluent English (C1).
- An advantage is familiarity with data governance with a focus on data mesh principles.
