Group Business Developer for Marketplace

Dr. Max has successfully launched a Marketplace in the Czech and Slovak Republics and is preparing to expand this model to additional countries within the Group. We are seeking an experienced Business Developer with a strong background in e-commerce - whether from working within e-shops or in the marketplace ecosystem - who can drive the growth of this project and lead it to commercial success.

- Marketplace Growth: Identify and onboard high-quality partners to drive sales in key categories.
- Seller Management: Build strong relationships with sellers and partners, optimize their performance, and address any issues.
- Operations Oversight: Manage product listings, inventory, SLA fulfillment and customer service, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Performance Optimization: Track key metrics (OKRs) like sales growth and customer satisfaction, analyzing data to improve outcomes.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team on campaigns to boost traffic, sales, and partner engagement.
- Platform Improvement: Provide feedback for enhancing user experience and suggest new features for platform development.
- A university degree in economics, business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in eCommerce within Czechia and Slovakia, ideally with knowledge of marketplace specifics (sales, category management, or marketing).
- A track record of driving eCommerce or marketplace growth to meet revenue targets.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills to build and develop mutually beneficial partnerships with clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Hands-on experience with marketplace platforms and tools.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing strategies and techniques.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- Language proficiency: Czech/Slovak and advanced English.
