Group Data Analyst Lead
Dr. Max is the leading pharmacy chain in Central Europe. In every country where we are active, we are dedicated to improve the level of health care available by guaranteeing access to a broad assortment of medicines and pharmacy services. Our pharmacies are currently present in 6 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Italy) with great expansion plans across Europe for the near future. Dr. Max BDC is currently building Global Data Platform, serving the whole Group to utilize data to support further growth of the company. We are looking teammate for one of the key roles in the Group’s Data team.

Required languages: Czech or Slovak, English (advanced)

- Cooperate on Group Data strategy
- Provide leadership to local teams and drive analytical process of Group Data Platform to deliver scalable implementations using the latest cloud technologies mainly in Azure landscape
- Set vision and standards across a matrix of teams
- Propose a conceptual/logical design for various data components and large volumes of data integrations
- Apply effective governance methods for long-term scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and solution elasticity in alignment with data architecture, security and infrastructure guidelines and standards
- Oversee projects suggesting best practices and standards for a given functionality
- Become the SPoC for key stakeholders
- Support Data Management initiatives
- Education with preference in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in design and implementation of data solutions in relevant areas (Large-scale, multi-tenant DataLakehouse)
- Experience with relational/dimensional data modeling
- Very good knowledge of SQL, and ability to design data pipelines (ETL processes)
- BI consulting experience, ability to set and manage customer expectations, and to negotiate appropriate resolutions to issues
- Self-directed with the ability to work simultaneous engagements
- 5+ years of experience in design and implementation of datawarehousing
- Strong technical leadership, organizational skills, mentorship and collaboration
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficient in data architecture
- Understanding of data concepts and patterns, data management
- Understanding of data pipelines / ETL / APIs etc.
- Proactive, collaborative and open-minded attitude, ability to work independently
