Group Indirect Procurement Manager

At the moment we are looking for someone to join our team at Group HQ in Prague to participate in managing Indirect procurement agenda for the Group. In this role you will report directly to Group Indirect Procurement Director. What will be your responsibilities?
  • Lead procurement activities for an annual spend of 130-140 m Euro across IT and eCommerce categories, covering Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Italy, and Serbia
  • Develop and execute the Group IT & eCommerce procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and overall procurement objectives
  • Lead complex, cross-border sourcing initiatives and strategic procurement projects across multiple markets as part of the regional procurement organization
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract management with global, regional, and local suppliers, securing optimal commercial terms, service levels, and contractual conditions
  • Build, develop, and manage strategic supplier relationships, driving performance, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Analyze procurement spend, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), supplier performance, and purchasing data to identify optimization opportunities and provide strategic recommendations
  • Conduct market intelligence, benchmark pricing, monitor technology and market trends, and understand cost models and key cost drivers across IT and eCommerce categories
  • Drive value engineering and Value Analysis initiatives by identifying alternative solutions, technologies, and sourcing approaches that improve business value
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with internal governance, procurement policies and other requirements, and applicable legal and regulatory standards
  • Monitor and report procurement KPIs, including savings and payment term improvements, supplier performance, contract compliance, spend under management, and complexity reduction
What do we expect from you?
  • Min. 10 years of experience in strategic indirect procurement (some previous relevant experience in IT category is a must)
  • Excellent communication, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Business driven personality, entrepreneurial, pragmatic and hands-on approach
  • Strong analytical and presentation capabilities (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization with a varying maturity of local businesses
  • Native Czech/Slovak and advanced level of English
