Group IT Retail Manager
Dr. Max is the leading omnichannel pharmacy chain in Central Europe, currently present in 6 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Italy) with ambitious expansion plans across Europe. Dr. Max Pharmacy Chain Group HQ is looking for a Group IT Retail Manager to join our team and help us build the best platform. You will be responsible for retail area across the countries. Employment form: Full-time work
- Lead the global IT Retail area across Dr. Max countries, designing the IT strategy and roadmap in alignment with the Group Operation Officer and Group Commercial Officer, and their teams
- Effectively drive the IT roadmap for pharmacy operation, commercial, pricing and wholesale processes
- Search for innovative solutions to support pharmacy Retail evolution
- Manage the demand and define correct IT actions to translate business process into IT solutions
- Effectively govern the implementation of current and future Retail application platforms supporting the design of standard processes and the implementation of standard solutions worldwide
- Participate actively in the IT Retail projects by governing process design, functional specification analysis and validation, build and test solution, support Go live and post Go live
- Establish and govern IT competence centers on Retail processes, leveraging on current resources in the countries
- Manage budgets, resources, and relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and business partners
- Develop business case and cost/benefit analysis for IT spending and initiatives
- Report directly to Group CIO
- Degree in IT/technical subject
- 4+ years of experience with product/project management
- Experience in Retail systems (POS, Pricing, Retail Management Systems, store operations solution, ERP, etc.)
- Knowledge of retail processes
- Fluent English, other languages (Czech/Italian/…) are a plus
- Proactive approach with a problem solving attitude
- Smart, curious, adaptable people with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Passion for IT, technology and innovation
