Group System Administrator
Dr. Max is the leading pharmacy chain in Central Europe. In every country where we are active, Dr. Max is dedicated to improving the level of health care available by guaranteeing access to a broad assortment of medicines and pharmacy services. Pharmacies are currently present in 6 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Italy) with great expansion plans across Europe for the near future. The Group level headquarters Dr. Max BDC is looking for a Group System Administrator, who will ensure the operations of our Datacenter Infrastructure services (cloud platform included). You will be helping us to set server and system parameters in line with our corporate standards across Dr. Max countries and entities. If you are an experienced System administrator, with a great overview and technical experience from IT operations, and you would like to make the next step in a growing environment where you can truly make an impact, this is the right opportunity for you! We are in process of migration of our servers and infrastructure to MS Azure, so this should ideally also be your point of interest. Do not expect to work much with end user oriented systems (M365, SCCM, Intune) because its responsibility belongs to different team. Also, we do not manage any HW as our environment is fully virtualized already.

Required languages: Czech or Slovak, English (advanced)

- Datacenter infrastructure systems responsibility (server installation, documentation, operation, backup, security, monitoring, patching, hardening etc.)
- Managing multidomain Active Directory, Azure AD, AD Trust
- Managing and operating our Microsoft Windows server services (PKI, Fileshare, RDS, ...)
- Responsibility for our on-premises platforms, its standardization and automation
- Supporting company business application
- Acting as L2 and L3 of support for other teams and business services
- Day-to-day operations – solving incidents, requests, changes, and projects prior to SLA
- Continuous improvement of our Infrastructure business services
- Operating up-to-date Azure cloud platform services
- Experience in IT Infrastructure Administration (servers and core infrastructure services)
- Experience with integrating and managing infrastructure solutions
- Ability to provide technical system solutions and best practices
- Operational background in the infrastructure field with good troubleshooting ability
- Knowledge of Network, Firewall, Storage and virtualization principles
- Written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences from other countries
- Scripting and automation (Infrastructure as Code) focus
- Cloud (MS Azure) background is a plus
- Fluency in English
