IT Applications Delivery Manager
Dr. Max is the leading pharmacy chain in Central Europe. We are currently present in six countries - Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Italy - with ambitious expansion plans across Europe. At our group headquarters, Dr. Max BDC, we are expanding our IT team and looking for an IT Applications Delivery Manager. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of IT services, improving the way they work and connecting technology, vendors and business needs. You will be responsible for a group of IT application services, including monitoring, integrations, identity management and other services, with an impact across an international organization.
Required education: School-leaving exam
Required languages: Czech or Slovak, English (advanced)
Employment form: Full-time work
You will take ownership of the delivery and management of selected IT application services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading service delivery for IT application services, including monitoring, integrations, identity management and others
- Managing regular application management activities
- Ensuring the right technology, procedures and documentation are in place
- Driving service improvements and projects
- Managing finances, including budget planning
- Managing relevant vendors
- Communicating and collaborating with both IT and business stakeholders, including top management
- Acting as an escalation point when needed
- 3+ years of relevant experience in service and/or application management
- Hands-on application management experience
- A good overall understanding of IT technologies, enabling you to drive technical topics and participate in service operations and design when needed
- Experience in driving IT projects
- Fluent English and generally good communication skills
- Understanding of the ITIL framework is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Real ownership of a portfolio of application services
