Modern Workplace Engineer

We are seeking a Modern Workplace Engineer to join our Group IT - Modern Workplace Team. If you enjoy turning chaos into policy-driven order (and then automating it), you’ll fit right in. You should be passionate about continuous learning and improving how endpoint and mobile device management works at scale - with a mindset focused on stability, security, and modernization. In this position, you will work closely with our endpoint management engineers to drive two major journeys forward: the implementation of mobile device management (MDM) in Microsoft Intune, and later - the migration from SCCM Co-management to Intune across the Dr. Max Group.

What will be your responsibilities?

Platform Administration & Modernization 

  • Administer and develop Microsoft Intune and SCCM, leading the group-wide transition from SCCM to Intune. 
  • Implement and manage MDM for iOS/Android, including policies, compliance, security baselines, and rollout strategy. 
  • Design, configure, and maintain endpoint management architecture ensuring reliability, performance, and security alignment.

Operations & Support 

  • Manage and optimize Windows and macOS devices across HQ, pharmacies, and warehouses (imaging, patching, policies, software deployment). 
  • Oversee the full device lifecycle from provisioning to decommissioning. 
  • Provide Level 2/3 support and collaborate with local IT, infrastructure, and security teams. 

Documentation & Governance 

  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and contribute to governance standards in line with Group IT policies. 
What do we expect from you?
  • Proven experience managing Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) in a mid-to-large environment. 
  • Strong understanding of Windows 11, macOS, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. 
  • Hands-on experience with application deployment, patching, and policy enforcement. 
  • Proficiency with PowerShell or similar tools for automation and scripting. 
  • Familiarity with Azure AD, Conditional Access, and endpoint security principles. 
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail and process discipline. 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience in hybrid or cloud-first endpoint management environments. 
  • Exposure to Windows Update for Business or co-management scenarios. 
  • Familiarity with ITIL-based service management practices. 
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (MD-102, SC-900, AZ-104, or similar).
