Packaging Compliance Specialist - Dr. Max Own Label
Dr. Max is the leading pharmacy chain in Central Europe. Our pharmacies are currently present in 6 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Italy) with great expansion plans across Europe for the near future. Dr. Max Own Label provides a wide range of pharmaceutical products sold exclusively in Dr. Max pharmacies in all our countries. It includes licensed (Rx and OTC medicines), and non-licensed products (food supplements, cosmetics, medical devices, etc.), currently covering the portfolio over 1400 products in total. Dr. Max Own Label team is growing, and we are looking for a Packaging Specialist to join us.

Required languages: Native Czech or Slovak, English (advanced)
Employment form: Full-time work
- Ensuring that all pharmaceutical product packaging complies with applicable EU and local environmental legislation, including upcoming sustainability, recyclability, and traceability requirements
- Acting as the main contact point for gathering packaging material data from manufacturers, reviewing and maintaining documentation, issuing compliance certificates, and keeping an up-to-date internal database
- Extract relevant packaging compliance data from product dossiers and technical specifications
- Evaluate packaging materials against applicable EU and national requirements (e.g., Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive, SUP Directive, upcoming Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation)
- Prepare and issue internal/external packaging compliance certificates
- Support QA/QC and RA teams in new product launches and variations
- Monitor changes in EU and local environmental packaging regulations
- University degree - Chemistry, Materials Science, Environmental Science, Packaging Technology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
- At least 1 year relevant experience on a similar position/ or fresh graduates are also welcome
- Knowledge of EU packaging and environmental legislation
- Strong analytical skills, database management experience, and excellent communication skills
- Native Czech/Slovak and advanced level of English
