Product Builder
Develop and maintain our e-commerce solution as well as internal company applications using AI-native development practices (such as prompt engineering). Execute the assigned team's product vision and strategy in Product Strategists/Owner by translating it into a stable, maintainable code. You take a requirement, understand it, and drive it end-to-end (through development, testing, releasing into production) in cooperation with product strategist/PO and the rest of a team. You transform needs identified by product strategist/owner into fully functional parts of a production application.

- Development • Development of internal products as well as production microservices (mainly Golang, Node.js) as part of our e-commerce solution.
- Documentation & Context Engineering • Keep documentation, architectural decisions and development guidelines clean, structured and up to date so they can be effectively consumed by both humans and AI agents. Treat documentation as part of the product and as a source of truth that enables AI-assisted development across the codebase.
- Cooperation • Tight cooperation of product strategists/owners and rest of development team to make right design and architectural decisions in order to make scalable, reliable and performant services.
- E2E responsibility • As a builder you should handle both Backend and Frontend and develop multiple parts of our distributed system in one assignment to deliver real business value (not just one API endpoint or one module).
- Sprint Planning & Execution • Enabling Product Strategist/Owner to ensure the right work is prioritized, confirming that acceptance criteria are clear and predispositions for given tasks are met.
- Decision-Making & Problem-Solving • Make key implementation decisions, balancing business value and technical constraints. Resolve roadblocks end-to-end ---> the requirement is working software over unfinished work with followup ticket.
- AI-Assisted Development Work • Use AI tools as a standard part of daily work - development of production features and maintaining complex production application as well as communicating with stakeholders and building prototypes for UX discussions. This is a core expectation of the role from day one, not a nice-to-have.
- You are comfortable using AI tools for coding, prototyping, understanding requirements, documentation and everyday engineering work, and you are interested in continuously improving how software is built with AI.
- Experience with full-stack software development, ideally with a strong backend focus and experience with Golang and/or Node.js and modern frontend technologies such as Vue.js/Nuxt.js.
- Ability to take a requirement from an initial idea through design, implementation, testing and deployment to production, taking ownership of the outcome rather than just individual technical tasks.
- Understanding of software architecture, APIs, microservices and distributed systems, with a focus on scalability, reliability, performance and maintainability.
- Experience working closely with Product Owners, Product Strategists and other stakeholders and the ability to translate business needs into pragmatic technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently, identify roadblocks and find solutions that deliver real business value.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset. You are comfortable working in a team, explaining technical decisions and contributing to architectural and product discussions.
- Fluent Czech/Slovak and English.
